Aine – Reg. Rep.

Reps meeting, there before 9 & left after 6:30 with only a 40 min break! Coventry from WSM via Bristol & back.

AGC working party formed – Bill, Aine, Ian, Donna, Eddie, Brian, Andy – Who else out there?

Winter Gardens can stage Mega Bands, 600-800 people, can we do it?

Long day shared by Ian.

1st mtg. Tues 19/06, Wagon & Horses – email set for this

ACC Q&A

On Sat nights in WSM, you can go to at least 4 pubs & see good bands

So, ideas

We need a promoter & a good band – nothing ventured, nothing gained

This has money making potential, but, cautionary note 600 @ £15 is only £9000.

The AGC has got to run perfectly – it will with good organisation, please help, ideas welcome

Do we pay for Mega Band? Lower quality bands not making money, venues closing due to lack of punters.

Who do you know? Contact them.

Go out & ask.

We have the Winter Gardens, WSM so lets use it!

Various people going out to see music people they know – Bill, Donna, Der etc.

Duk Dik – Regional Rally

Glos. MAG handed over £1600 clear profit

Next Duk Dik in 2002, can Glos. MAG still do it? The region needs them to carry on especially with the new site & holding the AGC the week after.

Thank you & well done all involved.

Talk to Paul, if he agrees, he is to be given full rein with it – rotas, working party, organisation

Advertising – WRAG Mag

Rates: £30 – full-page, £20 – half page, £10 – quarter page, £5 – eighth page.

Get someone to advertise to help with printing costs – local bike shops, bands etc.
